Gus is an incredible mover but unfortunately was never able to show that in the pen. He was injured as a yearling in the right fetlock and hock and although 3 different vet clinics have said with time he will be sound, we were not been able to get him sound enough to go to the pen. But he has proven his pleasure ability in his offspring. You should see them lope. As the true proof of a stallion in the foals he produces we found Gus to make his mark.

They are only as good as what they produce, a true sire. 2011 is ending up another great year. Mymandeliveredmeroses is leading the Green Western Pleasure. Lukes Likea Gentlemen was a Top 5 in Masters Hunter Under Saddle and Reserve World in Masters Equitation. Top 10 in Green Hunter Under Saddle. The babies keep bringing on the awards.

2010 had outstanding finishes for the foals by Gus. Send Roses Please won the Sr Western Pleasure Honor Roll and tied for the Open Honor Roll. Thank you to owner Robin Roberts and trainers Rod Safty, Roger Deromedi and Megan Sassaman. Robin was also 2nd in the Masters Western Pleasure Honor roll.

Not to be outdone, Leona Martz and Sensational Gentlemen made the Top 20 Masters and were 4th in the Masters Western Pleasure Honor Roll. Also made the Honor roll in Showmanship. Our first Top 20

Then we have our first shining star. White Silk Stockings and her new mount Kate Peterson. They also made the Top 20 14-18 and Honor Roll Top 10 finishes in Showmanship, Horsemanship, Pleasure and Western Riding. Way to go Girls.
