What does it take to be a broodmare at Harnish Performance Horses? Either she has to be a superior western pleasure or hunter or under saddle horse in her own right or must be sired by a World Champion or by a World Champion producer. We have kept a few “special” mares, but new additions to the herd must meet those criteria.

Our mares come from royal bloodlines: daughters of Seven S Flashyzipper, Pass To The Stars, Skips Artist, Blazing Hot, Think I'm Hot and Zippo Jack Bar. No one can argue with the produce and show records of the offspring of these sires. To further the equation, we want our mares to produce balanced offspring, capable of standing in a halter class and winning some points--a trait necessary for the youth or amateur all-around horse today. Many of our mares are breeding stocks, giving us more value for the dollar.

Breeding stock daughter of Seven S Flashyzipper out of a Boston Mac/Leo San man bred mare. Dams full brother is a World Champion Western Pleasure horse. Her foals are big and leggy--all have matured to over 16 hands. What a great baby she had by Gentlemen Send Roses, bred back for a March 17th baby. Baby for sale as soon as foaled. She is now a World Champion Producer, Reserve World 2 yr old Western Pleasure horse White Silk Stockings. Is in foal to Gus for 2006

Breeding stock full sister to above. Has been shown 4-H, winning halter to pleasure. Her foals have lots of body and balance, great legged. She is the dam of Deluxe Seven Edition, youth horse, World placing trail horse. Bred to Gentlemen Send Roses for 2006. Watch for her foal Gentlemens Shadow owned by Cindy Meyer. He's incredible.

AQHA/APHA Crop-out daughter of Pass To The Stars out of a Sonny Dee Bar mare. Foals are very balanced and terrific movers, they can lope like the very best in this industry. Unshown due to injury. Her first foal by Vested Legacy won his first pleasure class out. Her yearling is wicked legged. Open for 2006, she gets a year off, she has a super colt by Too Sleepy To Zip and will be bred back for 2007. This colt is double papered and is slated to be an addition to our stallion band.

Daughter of Skips Artist out of a Scotch Bar Tommy/Impressive mare. Mare is very balanced and great mover. Unshown due to injury. Who can argue with the number of World Champion and All Around horses Skips Artist has sired? Bred to Gus for 2006.

Sire is World Champion producer Zippo Jack Bar. You can't argue with results and the Jack Bar line produces that. This filly is 15.2, very pretty and super legged, add the color from Gus and we have a World Champion in the oven. Checked in foal to Gus for 2006. Will consider selling foal in utero but it won't be cheap. Thank you to the girls from R11 who allowed us to purchase this young mare and add to our band.
